Union grad raises money for art club, displays fashion

Crimes anger, unite Easton community

The Easton community was the victim of six residential burglaries that stretched from December 30th to January 3rd. The suspects involved in the burglaries were described as three black males in their mid 20’s driving a 1990 Mitsubishi pickup with a white camper shell by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

College Football Wrap-Up

BY MATT PITCHFORD Going into the 2009 College Football season, there were many expectations for an exciting year, and the season had many twist and turns that nobody were able to see coming. Some of those twists and turns included relatively unknown teams that came from nowhere to be in the Top 25, teams with high expectations who completely underperformed, one of the closest Heisman races in the 75 year history of the Heisman Trophy, and dramatic coaching changes that left many fans guessing.    After Week 2 of the season, the University of Houston emerged onto the Top 25 scene with two dominant victories over Northwestern State, 55-7, and No. 5 Oklahoma State, 45-35. By JOHN HILLS MLB: Mark McGwire- OMG, Mark McGwire was on steroids?? You're telling me that the enormous man, with muscles the size of trees, who looked like the Incredible Hulk's long lost brother didn't look that way because of push-ups and vitamins? Oh come on. This is just about as surprising as Tim Lincecum being caught with marijuana(Just look at him!). McGwire was one of the most obvious steroid users, but he has continuously denied it, until his recent confession. Thanks for finally coming clean Mark. Too bad Jose Canseco did it for you about five years ago.
