The art club has been attending the big Fresno fair for over a decade, which takes place the second week of fair. . Art teachers Mrs. Garcia, Jeanie Donato, and Adrianna Rodriguez introduced students who were really advanced with art into the art club.
This year with 13 students who attended each and every one of them performed a remarkable piece. Students show their artistic abilities, and each has their own style.
The students learned to of work together by working in pairs instead of singles. Each pair contributed to a gallery of diverse drawings; some were really bright and others were just dark. The chalk is also held at school where students who attended or didn’t showed their artistic abilities as well.
The art scale has changed through out the years it’s getting a lot better and its more of a challenge. Students get to show their true abilities when they are doing what they enjoy. What surprises other schools the most is how talented our students drawings are, it’s like a kick of diverse colors and style all in one.
“The chalk art looked really nice; I really liked the breast cancer awareness sign because it truly means a lot because I support breast cancer.” junior Denise Briseno said.Students felt the best thing about chalk art is seeing all the students’ abilities and creativity of their competitors, working with all the other students really show how confident our school is.
“I wish I would have used more of a technique such as water ripples and better preparations, there for the competition could have been better.” Junior Keith Thor said. Overall the years of chalk art we’ve been doing great but hope to keep up the great work through the following years, there’s much more fine art to been seen.
